I am thinking about modding the car. I hate but love at the same time. My A4, Everyone know I rag on the car like a mofo. But anyways, I found some thing interesting mod kit for my car. http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=1820. So Now I get 400 at the crank.

Or with the same amount of money. I could probably Buy a 240z or a 240sx s13. And do an LS1 swap. Then build on that as I go.

I dunno though.

So the basic answer if you had 10k and a A4 would you modded or Just leave as a DD.

leave as a DD and buy an ls1 z28.. they can be found with relatively reasonable miles for 5-7k. Do a 6.0l swap with heads and c am and be making about 460 rwhp

nope, live axle... Just figured it'd be better than the pain in the ass swap you are talking about with a 240

Yea I mean I would if it was indepenet Rear. Hinson Supercars Makes a kit for like 2k that you can swap it in to.

Plus the shock vaule of a Sil-80 with a V8 would be priceless

if you are set on going with a ls based motor in a nissan car i would still go with the 6.0l Iron block just for the strength if you plan to build it later on down the road.

First off, you won't make 400awhp on 440cc injectors, REVO software, an Eliminator turbo kit, or any combination of the above. lol dizzygti@gmail.com if you want to discuss this, but for ~$9.2K, I could build you a setup with a 2.0 stroker, a GT3076R, fueling, software, FMIC, and labor, and you'd make a legitimate 400awhp on pump gas. The A4 is certainly capable of being a reliable, fast, and plush DD.

I'd buy a $2000 dollar Mustang and spray it to death. I heard anyone can get into the 10's like that.
If you plan on beating on it, I would build something. I bet that Audi is a really nice car and it would be a shame to tear it up. I think an LS/240 would be a blast. I bet you can get there with a little bit of wiggle room for 10K, if you turn wrenches yourself.
